The Center has been involved in the past ten years in research, development and implementation within the fields of Technology and Scientific education. The specialty of the center is the development and implementation of innovative learning environments that use computer technology to enhance learning and teaching. Such learning environments that had been developed are for example, Logo, LEGO-Logo and Techno-Logic. The learning environments developed at the IDEA Center are open environments, applicable to a wide range of contents and disciplines, and compatible with a variety of learning and teaching modes.
